this is a petition to have sam peppers youtube channel removed. whether you know who sam pepper is or not is not the point. the point is that he uses his youtube platform for all the wrong reasons. he sexually harasses woman in public & gets away with it because he’s ‘famous.’ his latest video pushes it too far when he pranks his ‘friend’ into thinking he murdered their best friend. it’s disgusting & insensitive & he doesn’t, in the slightest, deserve to still have a channel where he can simply get away with being this inhumane & disgusting. PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION
More people should share and sign this.
whenever I’m with my friends it seems like they’re all having fun and I’m just kind of there

This is Sam Pepper. If you don’t know who he is, Sam is a successful YouTube prankster with over 2 million subscribers. He recently uploaded a video titled “Fake Hand Ass Pink Prank“ where he pinched unsuspecting girls’ butts without their permission. None of this was done with the girls’ consent…meaning Sam Pepper sexually harassed and assaulted these women.
This is no longer a “simple, harmless prank” but rather a very serious matter and offence. If you haven’t seen the video yet, you can watch, dislike, and report it HERE. You can also take the pledge to help stop sexual violence at itsonus.org. Please do not let Sam get away with this kind of behavior. He crossed the line and needs to be held responsible for his disgusting actions.

First let me tell you why people are upset. The Teen Choice Award producers knew what they were doing when they included the “Web” category. They used the communities and popularity of online personalities to draw traffic to their website and views for tonight awards. After that they didn’t show all the caterogies within “Web” and they are being said to have rigged the votes.
Now on to the next part;
Why were youtubers included in the Teen Choice Awards?
Categories like “Choice Instagrammer” and “Social Media Queens” which have no value were included but you can’t see why YouTubers whose main traffic is teens and young adults weren’t? YouTubers are some of the hardest, most inspiring, and talented people to be included in the entire realm of voting. If you don’t understand why here, let me break it down for you;Youtubers are all people who in reality are just like you and I. They started out in their rooms, recording their lives and sharing with us. Many, many Youtubers started their channel to help them overcome anxiety, escape from bullying, or needed a break from the world around them. They serve as a reminder that you are not alone and that others go through the same thing as you. They have just been kind enough to share their journey.
Youtubers almost all shoot, edit, and upload their content by themselves and have since the very beginning. They don’t have a crew of people to set things up for them, do their hair and make up, etc.
They completely open their lives up to strangers and show us a realistic side of life. Not an entirely scripted one.
On top of that they have stepped very far out of just being behind a computer screen.
Youtubers like Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, Connor Franta, and Zoe Sugg, Mamrie Hart, and Shay Carl have all written or are writing books.
Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, Mamrie Hart, Shane Dawson, 02L, and many more have all been in, and helped produce movies.
Youtube channels/shows have also been picked up as television shows, almost every youtuber has been on TV, iJustine has starred in episodes of SVU, Vampire Diaries„ and Criminal Minds, and Grace Helbig has been picked up for a pilot on E! network for her own show.
Troye Sivan, Tyler Oakley, Hannah Hart, Rose and Rosie, and many more are also huge supports and members of the LGBTQ community and this has been so huge in the online world.
Cimorelli, Christina Grimmie, Megan and Liz, Lindsey Stirling, Chester See and so many more than I could list are all singers/bands that started out by uploading their covers online and are all doing tours, coming out with CDs, and are making a huge leap into the music industry. As well as Troye Sivan who has produced comedy videos on Youtube and has just recently announced the drop of his upcoming album.
Youtubers are people first, not actors or singers, etc,. They communicate with their communities and truly care about their audience. (not to say that other celebrities don’t.)
They aren’t just uploading quick, easy videos. They are making new content and doing it alone. They are keeping up with millions of viewers and supporters, and have taken this unexpected fame and turned it into something incredible.
And this doesn’t even begin to top all the other work they have done and all the other amazing youtubers out there.
They are helping and changing lives and if that doesn’t deserve recognition and you think that the biggest “female and male hottie” does then I doubt I can shape your opinion.
